Our attempt to show all the cool yellow leaves in front of the building turned into a 'Your kids are taller than you!' photo shoot.

Halloween disco

Middle school Halloween disco tonight. Dan and I went and helped prep/serve food. We were told 1) to not take pictures and 2) to leave as soon as possible. We were able to take a few pics before the disco.

Missionaries

These are the missionaries from our ward.
They're all from the US.

They sometimes go to YM on Sunday with Derek and occasionally YM activities during the week.

Stockholm

Stockholm is too big to see in one day. Here's what we did catch.

The other three:
literature, peace, and economics.
All prizes except the peace prize are handed out in Stockholm.
The guide talked a bit about the controversy surrounding the awarding of the EU the peace prize.

Every prize winner is represented on a poster/banner that moves around the whole museum.

We took the ferry from Gamla Stan to Djurgården.

At the Vasa Museum.
In 1628 the ship went 1500 meters into it's maiden voyage and then sunk in Stockholm's harbor.
It spent 333 years in the harbor until it was raised in 1961.

We were surprised at how colorful it was.

Building and monument across the street from where we were waiting for our bus back to the boat. It never came. Luckily, we were not the only ones waiting and we all decided to take the metro (tunnelbana). We did not see cool artwork. The line we were on looked like a regular old metro to us.
