Thanksgiving

We hosted Thanksgiving this year! It's a little challenging to find ingredients for Thanksgiving in Finland. Luckily, Dan was in the US a few weeks before and I sent him with an empty suitcase. However, I forgot to tell him cranberry sauce.
I wrote on Facebook that I was planning on using lingon berries instead of cranberries.
Friend Tami offered one of her extra cans! AWESOME!

Our turkey came for a market downtown. 60€ or about $77.

Trip to see Lulu!

Lauren and I did a quick girls' trip to Copenhagen, Denmark to see Lulu one last time before moving. Fun weekend!

On the trip back I got a fine for 100€ for not having the correct ticket. The passengers were trying to help me since I obviously didn't speak or read Danish. One old lady reached over and patted my knee.
When I got home I called and they waived the fine. Whew.

Lulu's parents invited us to a dinner where Morten prepared a traditional Danish Christmas meal. Delicious.
